If I had it before, I probably have your number somewhere - but not on my phone.
Call my cell if you need anything with a deadline. Leave me an email if you want to communicate anything without a deadline, e.g. links to stuff I should read or other communiques.
Reason: I'm moving today (Tuesday). Hectic etc etc. Living situation still TBD, various tentative plans in meantime. If you can offer temporary housing/couch/whatever for me and/or boyfriend anytime this month (pref. somewhere in the bay area), please call me and let me know.
Otherwise, see y'all when I come back online.

... it's a DBA / FBN filing, so technically that's more like "I now legally own Sai Emrys".
But I also now have a checking account with the name on it. So that means I can cash checks made out to that name.
Huzzah.
It was a lot easier than one might expect.

I now have cellphone service again (on my new [refurbished] Nokia 6030).

headset off ebay = $6 (cingular wanted $20)
Should have it soonish. Then I can swap out the SIM and continue to use my old plan.
... another thing. Feh.
So:
a) I won't be able to call or be called until I get a new phone, except very sporadically. I can still get voicemail since I use Youmail.
b) I need to get a new cellphone, and (since I'm cheap) therefore a new cellphone *plan* as well. I wonder if there are any that will match my current (discontinued) one from Cingular - $30/mo, ~300hr anytime, unlimited nights/weekends. They won't let me continue it - new phone = new contract = new plan.

Not sure what someone has, just send an email to all of 'em. The number should be globally unique, so there should be no chance of sending to the wrong person; you'll just get a bunch of bounces. (The one you don't get a bounce from...)
Supposedly 10DigitPhoneNumber@Teleflip.com will work also, but that's going through a third party (and wouldn't get you the info about who they have).

My cellphone has gone MIA.
I can't find it, and it's off (or more likely, dead) judging by the fact that it goes to voicemail immediately. I've checked everywhere I could think of without success. :-/ I have my old phone but I'll need to replace its SIM card, which may take a while.
Anywho:
a) call the house line if you want to reach me (I've reposted my updated contact info here); you can leave a message if I don't answer
b) let me know if you've my cell (ha)
c) leave a comment w/ your phone #s so I can write them down somewhere else this time and not just store them in the phone :( (all comments will be screened)
Thanks.

Grr ransom. Yay cheap good registrars (i.e. GoDaddy).
That is all.
'til fixed, you can contact me at gmail, with the usual username.
[Edit:] Evidently my domain expired May 20th. Two days ago, my registrar (namezero.com) deleted it and it went to Dotster for "redemption period".
Which means that if I want it back within the next 30 days, I have to pay them $100 (WTF?) to "restore" it, at which point I can then register it again with someone else.
If I don't, then I have to wait 30 days (during which all my mail bounces), at which point it becomes publically-available again and some mass domain-parking company will snipe it and charge me for the priviledge of buying my domain name off of them.
Anyone know if there is a better option?
[Edit2:] Guess not. Grr blackmail... I wonder if I could reverse the charges.
Anywho, hopefully my domain should be transfered to GoDaddy within a day or so. Stay tuned.
