My car (1990 Acura Integra RS, manual, ~180k mi) needs work. I'm not sure if it's worth doing.
1. CV joint replacement (= axle replacement 'cause it's cheaper): $200-300
2. Alternator replacement (if the alternator is what's wrong with the charging system, which is very likely): $250-450
3. Clutch fixing (it's slipping, and getting progresisvely worse): ~$1000
The KBB private party value on it is only $1200. And it is fairly high mileage... dunno when the engine will go on it.
On the other hand, any other option is probably going to cost even more. :-|
