I've recently been considering moving away from LiveJournal (in part because of issues with censorship).
It seems though that this would require a lot of effort to achieve the same quality, and even so there would be difficulty maintaining my readerships. I could have an LJ-syndicated RSS feed (possibly even under this name), but letting people read filtered posts - and I do have a fair number of filters - would be more difficult, practically. Folk don't usually like to sign up for yet another site - even with OpenID - and there's no way to secure an LJ-syndicated RSS feed that I know of. (One can secure RSS feeds generally, though.)
Any comments/suggestions?

But as for the censorship issue, I see where you are coming from. What was the result of your censorship issue with LJ anyhow? Was there ever a response?
