I’ve been programming since middle school – first on my TI-82, later in C and C++ to create the Palm OS program I released through SaiTech. At De Anza I learned x86 assembly; at Berkeley I learned Lisp for my classes on AI & programming structure. I’ve also used Visual Basic as part of Access database back ends. I learned Ruby on Rails & MySQL (and relearned CSS, HTML, and JavaScript) for use in several personal projects, and then applied it to work for Medtronic. Since joining Zynga and starting ever more ambitious personal projects, I have learned a lot about scalability, game & web design, AJAX, and Comet. In addition to native English, I am verbally fluent in Russian, can carry on most conversations in American Sign Language (ASL), French, and Spanish; have low intermediate Japanese, and have studied Arabic and Mandarin. | |
